At Syracuse University, I have taken on leadership roles that allowed me to create meaningful projects, support my peers, and promote sustainability. I have led teams, developed challenges, and helped students learn. Participating in case competitions helped me improve my problem-solving and strategy skills, with notable achievements like winning $10,000 and earning 3rd place for an AI strategy. These experiences have taught me how to lead, work with others, and think creatively to solve problems.


2024 Duke Energy Emerging Markets Case Competition - Winner
My team, Team OG, won the 2024 Duke Energy Emerging Markets Case Competition, focusing on Zembo, a Ugandan company transforming the electric motorbike industry. Competing against 70 teams from 35 schools across 10 countries, we reached the top 5 in the finals after months of intense preparation and research. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, pushing beyond my comfort zone, and believing in myself. It also offered the invaluable opportunity to connect with talented peers and learn from diverse perspectives.
Whitman Graduate Case Competition - AI Solution Development
In the Whitman Graduate Case Competition, my team, Data Xtreme, earned 2nd runner-up by creating an AI solution for a Chocolate Pizza Company. This experience showed me how much I enjoy problem-solving, research, and brainstorming. It helped me see my strengths and areas where I can improve, teaching me how to build on what I'm good at while working on my weaknesses. Working with my amazing teammates also strengthened my teamwork and communication skills. Overall, it was a great learning experience that inspired me to take on new challenges and explore creative solutions in my career.

I was honored to be invited as a panelist at Syracuse University, where I shared my internship experiences, skills, and lessons learned. Moving to a new country came with challenges, but it also offered valuable growth opportunities. Building strong connections and staying persistent helped me overcome setbacks and achieve success.

As President, I led the organization and empowered women in business through networking events, workshops, and leadership opportunities. I also conducted sessions for the leadership handover, where I explained the organizational processes and created a structured framework to ensure that new team members could easily transition and take on responsibilities without difficulty. This experience enhanced my leadership and communication skills, and I learned the importance of building meaningful connections with industry professionals and peers while ensuring continuity and smooth transitions within the organization.

Graduate Assistant, Experiential Learning
In this role, I designed and organized sustainability challenges for students, helping them think critically about real-world environmental issues. It was a valuable experience where I contributed to students’ learning by writing and structuring events, while also deepening my own knowledge of sustainability practices.
